Nate’s Legacy, we are working to ensure that families feel supported, young people feel seen, and communities come together to protect hope and build a future where every life is valued.
More Than a Name. More Than a Legacy.
Nathaniel “Lit. Nate” Drew Edwards was a beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose life touched countless people. Known for his bright smile, kind heart, and ability to bring people together, Lit. Nat had a gift for making others feel seen and valued.
He loved family, friendship, basketball, and building relationships. Those who knew him remember his laughter, his energy, and the way he could light up a room with his presence.
To us, he will always be more than a memory. He is a daily reminder that every young person’s life has immeasurable value and that every community has a responsibility to protect, support, and encourage one another.
His legacy lives on through every conversation, every family supported, every young person encouraged, and every life touched through Full Court Healing™.
“Lit. Nate’s life continues to inspire hope, healing, and community.”

From a Mother’s Grief to a Community Movement
Full Court Healing™ was born from the deepest pain I have ever known and the unwavering belief that healing is possible when communities choose to stand together.
After the death of my son, Nathaniel “Lit. Nate” Drew Edwards, I came to understand that grief should never be carried alone. Families need support. Young people need trusted relationships. Communities need systems that recognize pain before it becomes crisis.
I refused to let my son’s story end with his death. Instead, his life became the inspiration for a movement dedicated to healing, protection, prevention, and hope.
Through Full Court Healing™, we partner with families, schools, churches, community organizations, and leaders to build stronger networks of support. By combining education, advocacy, community engagement, and practical strategies, we help create environments where people feel seen, valued, connected, and empowered to thrive.
Lit. Nate’s legacy lives on not only in memory, but in every life strengthened, every family supported, and every community committed to protecting the next generation.
